When printing or designing a template, it may help to hide cell gridlines.
On the main menu
1. Click Tools
2. Click Options
3. Select the View Tab
4. In the Window Options section, uncheck the Gridlines checkbox and hit OK

I have added a toolbar button for this on the standard toolbar. The button resides normally on the Forms toolbar, and is called Toggle Grid. The button image looks like a square of dots.
