Hide the Formula Bar

Hiding the formula bar is a way to discourage editing in Excel, and also a way to make excel look a little less like Excel. Here’s how:

On the main menu
1. Click Tools
2. Click Options
3. Select the View Tab
4. In the Show section, uncheck the Formula checkbox and hit OK
