Blogs – Syndicated Excel Content

excelblogs

The following is my small but growing list of sites that syndicate Excel information. These sites have an RSS or Atom feed specific to Excel. Also, a site may contain feeds to other information, however these links point directly to Excel content.

If you know of any others, or publish one yourself, send me an e-mail or leave a comment and I’ll post it here. In no particular order:

AutomateExcel.com – You are here!

Microsoft Excel 12 – “A discussion of what’s new in Excel 12.”

Daily Dose of Excel – “Daily posts of Excel tips…and other stuff.”

Vertex42 – So much stuff over there, tutorials, downloads, spreadsheets…ahhh!

Spy Journal Excel Tips – “The Excel Guru’s Free Tips and Hints”

Andrew’s Excel Tips – “a self-confessed Excel addict”

Colo’s Excel Junk Room – “A Masaru Kaji Joint”

Contextures – by Debra Dalgleish

Excel Pragma – By Fadi Chalouhi

AJP Excel Information – “Welcome to AJP Excel Information.”

Jon Peltier’s Excel Page – “Microsoft Excel Tips and Tricks”

Unofficial Office Stuff-Excel – “Tips and links related to MS Excel ”

JKP Application Development Services – “Microsoft Office Application Development”

Charles Maxson @ Office Zealot – “From the Zealot’s Corner…”

spreadsheets.about.com – I dislike about.com sites, however they do syndicate their excel tips.

KC on Exchange and Outlook – “release manager for Exchange Server”. Found an excel feed there also.

Can't get the tutorial to work for you? Need help with your code?

“how did you find me?” – Just this week I “stumbled upon” your site, unfortunately I can’t remember the details.

I was wondering why J-Walk’s blog is not in this list. I suppose he is popular guy in the Excel community.

    Thanks.

    Hello Amit,

I enjoy J-Walkblog as much as the next person, however, even though it has an Excel category, it doesn’t have a feed specific to that topic, and my initial goal was Excel only feeds.

My litmus test: “If I had to syndicate the headlines from a feed on my site, would the majority of them be relevant to Excel?”

The J-Walkblog is in my personal blogroll but not in my Excel folder. I also highly recommend J-walk.com

    Hi Mark

Thanks for linking to this page http://www.excelabo.net/rss/excelnews.php where news from your site and others are displayed. You could also, if you please, add the excelabo’s feed to your roll : Excelabo-rss2.xml.
The english tagline could be something like “Q&A on excel and VBA, free excel examples to download”

By the way, a better translation for the XXL tagline should be “Some Tricks to feel more confortable with Excel”.

Laurent Longre has also recently set up an rss feed to for his site :
    http://xcell05.free.fr/rss/rss.xml

    Thanks for the roll :-)

Thanks for stopping by Misange. I updated the blogroll with the sites you mentioned.. I’ve also added a note to the original post on the XXL translation.

    Good luck with your sites.
