There are dozens of color match tools available for webmasters, do a Google search, or take a look at this Color Scheme Chooser or Color Harmonies.
How do you use these tools with Excel? Excel let’s you replace the colors in the default palette by selecting a replacement color. You can also replace the default colors by designating a new color by RGB numbers, which is also the format a good number of web color match tools use.
Use Color Harmonies to choose your Excel Color Scheme
1. Goto Tools->Options
2. Select the Color tab
3. Click on the Color to replace in the default color palette then click the Modify button
4. Select the Custom tab

5. Choose a color to use as the base color, or one in which you would like to find complements for and note the RGB, click OK
6. Input the noted RGB numbers into Color Harmonies and you will be given complements to your RGB values

7. Note the RGB complements you would like to use in your spreadsheet and replace the colors in Excel’s default color palette with them.
