Convert an Image to Excel

Jwalk posted almost six months ago about Ivan F. Moala’s ImageToXL and I finally got around to downloading it after discovering I’d bookmarked it. I’m not sure when I’ll ever use this for a practical reason, however it’s a pretty awesome spreadsheet and worth the download.

Not only does ImageToXL convert an image to Excel cells, Ivan included a couple effects like Greyscale and Negative. To download scroll almost all the way down the page and you’ll see the download link.

Here’s a screenshot of the OCC Black Widow chopper in Excel, made using ImageToXL. Keep in mind the screenshot is not of an inserted image, but a few thousand colored cells:

    Thanks ross,

The old layout had too many problems. This template is basically the same as the last, just cleaned up a bit with a less sloppy skin. Seems to load quicker on my end too.

I ran across methodsinexcel from my server log, thanks for the link. When are you gonna start blogging?

Just trying to get content on to a site is hard enough for me – you have my respect Mark!
