John Walkenbach wrote the article Frequently Asked Questions About Microsoft Excel for PCWorld that’s worth a visit for a quick review.

I’m assuming this was written awhile back because of no reference to Excel >2000, however It’s still very relevant and also very popular this month in the bookmarking tool delicious (114 bookmarks so far)

    I was wondering if you knew of a way to make Excel automatically check and see if a domain name is available for registration?

    Now you can always try scraping the query using am Excel web query. For a tutorial see the link in this post:

    Though if you go that route just use it respectfully and they won’t ever probably notice. Good luck!
