But when I try to import this data into Excel I cannot see how to create a schema that will preserve the data as a single column - it always imports it either as a two rows A001 in A1 and a data cell in A2 or it create a table with data in A1, B2 ... and so on. How do I create a simple schema to import XML data into a single column (with no headings or tags - just the data? This is really driving me nuts!!!
