In case those of you wondering about the Office 12 beta missed the announcement: REDMOND, Wash. — Nov. 16, 2005 — Microsoft Corp. today announced the technical beta release of the new Office system, code-named Office “12.” Link

If you weren't one of the 10,000 customers and partners you'll get your possible next chance at the "broad public beta release this spring".

And not a day later I've already spotted it on the filesharing networks, though I didn't verify the integrity (ie download it).
